Ma, N., J. H. Jiang, K. Hou, Y. Lin, T. Vu, P. E. Rosen, Y. Gu, and A. Fahy, 2022: 21st Century Global and Regional Surface Temperature Projections. Earth and Space Science, 9, e2022EA002662. https://doi.org/10.1029/2022EA002662.
It is worth mentioning that in this study, Nicole Ma, a 16-year-old senior at Sage Hill School, has played an important role in analyzing global and regional warming acceleration. Utilizing observational datasets and global climate models, she helped to determine temperature trends across different regions around the globe. She presented her findings at the American Meteorological Society’s 103rd Annual Meeting in January 2023. Nicole’s exceptional research contributions have not only advanced our understanding of climate change but also earned her the CESASC JHJ Prize in Physics in April 2023. Recently, Nicole was accepted by Stanford University to pursue environmental science in December 2023.
