Ben Santer at JIFRESSE received the highest award from AMS

Dr. Ben Santer, a climate scientist at JIFRESSE, has been awarded The Carl-Gustaf Rossby Research Medal, the highest award from the American Meteorological Society (AMS), "For outstanding contributions to comprehending how climate change affects atmospheric structure and behavior based on detection and attribution methods”. 

The formal presentation of the award will occur in conjunction with the 104th AMS Annual Meeting scheduled to be held 28 January -1 February 2024 in Baltimore, Maryland.
