We are delighted to announce that five UCLA students have been selected for educational internships through the 2026 JIFRESSE Summer Internship Program (JSIP). Their applications distinguished themselves through strong academic achievements, well-defined research interests, and relevant experience.

The interns selected for this year are:

• Nicole Weimar, Math of Computation 
• Lauren Kim, Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences and Mathematics
• Anna L. Coomans, Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences

As part of the program, the interns will work closely with UCLA faculty mentors and JPL scientists on cutting-edge research projects. This experience will provide valuable hands-on training and help the interns develop skills essential for their academic and professional growth.
