JIFRESSE Researcher, Xianan Jiang, and his team have been investigating the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) through comprehensive assessment of general circulation models to gather an improved understanding on deep convective processes and their regional and global effects in order to provide enhanced weather and climate predictions.

Their publication has been highlighted by AGU as a Research Spotlight in Eos’ Earth and Space Science News.Click here to view the featured article.
